1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using UnpackIt JA's services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

UnpackIt JA provides package forwarding and courier services from the United States to Jamaica. We provide you with a personal US shipping address, receive packages on your behalf, and forward them to Jamaica via air freight.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Prohibited Items

You may not ship items that are:

• Illegal under US or Jamaican law
• Hazardous materials, explosives, or flammable goods
• Perishable items without prior arrangement
• Counterfeit or pirated goods
• Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
• Narcotics or controlled substances

UnpackIt JA reserves the right to refuse, return, or dispose of prohibited items at the customer's expense.

5. Pricing and Payment

• Shipping rates are based on actual weight and are published on our website
• Customs duties and GCT are additional charges assessed by the Government of Jamaica
• All prices are quoted in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) unless otherwise stated
• Payment is due before packages are released for delivery
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice

6. Shipping and Delivery

• Estimated delivery times (3-5 business days for air freight) are not guaranteed and may vary due to customs processing, weather, or other factors
• UnpackIt JA is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities
• Packages unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of or returned

7. Insurance and Liability

All packages are insured during transit from our US warehouse to delivery in Jamaica. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the package contents, up to a maximum determined by our insurance policy. We are not liable for:

• Items improperly packaged by the original seller
• Damage caused by customs inspection
• Items confiscated by customs authorities
• Loss or damage to prohibited items

8. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or ship prohibited items. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
